Shanghai First People's Hospital - International Medical Center

The International Medical Care Center (IMCC) of Shanghai First People's Hospital, formerly known as the 'Friendship Ward' established in 1956, is one of the earliest designated international medical service units in Shanghai. The IMCC provides 24-hour outpatient, emergency, and inpatient services, as well as international teleconsultation, medical tourism, and large-scale event medical support, with health coordinators providing full accompaniment services. It is the only public hospital in Shanghai offering 24-hour international medical services at both outpatient and inpatient levels. The center has 88 beds across VIP wards and suites at both north and south campuses.
